When cushions spark off your creativity!

Cushions are much more than just warm and cosy, they are perfect for you to get creative with your home furnishings.

a la une

They can decorate sofas, beds, benches or armchairs, are small and unobtrusive and often used to go with other shapes or materials; cushions are the ideal way to get your creative juices flowing with Haute Couture.

They can be used to decorate plain coloured sofas by themselves or with others and can match a huge range of shining and luxuriant colours by showing off endless cool patterns. Colours are chosen depending on what material the cushion is made from. Light colours go well with linen cushions but darker shades are better suited to velour or thick fabric. Having matching furniture or furnishings makes the colours in a plain room stand out even more.

In this winter season favourable to a cosy atmosphere, the words of Henri Matisse reverberate in us all: “Colour is, perhaps even more than the drawing itself, freedom above all else”.

Here are a few ideas to let Haute Couture into your house....

This cushion has been dyed Haute Couture Saffron yellow

This chair cushion has been dyed Haute Couture Pastel pink

This chair cushion is made from 100% ready-to-dye cotton.

What makes Haute Couture so great is its versatile range of 28 colour dyes, making it the perfect product to change the colour of your cushion covers following trends and seasons.

To do so you must first check:

. What fabric your covers are made out of

. How to clean them

. Depending on what colour you want, you will need to do a few tests to get lighter or darker shades*, e.g. dark red + Haute Couture royal blue = fuchsia pink.

All you have to do is follow the 3 simple steps indicated in the product information on each Haute Couture box. Our instructions are here.

The Haute Couture teams are always on-hand to provide you with any information about dyeing your fabric. We hope you enjoy it!

* The end result depends on the quality of the original fabric, the colour range, what the colour originally looked like (flat tint, shade, etc.) and the amount of Haute Couture fabric dye used.
